Alastair Porter - Chairman
Alastair Porter has been part of the Queenstown’s business community for 20 years as co-managing director of Remarkables Park Limited, Shotover Park Limited, Remarkables Park Stud Farm and Porter Group retail companies. He has 30 years experience in urban and rural residential property development both as a principal and as a consultant.
Alastair has held many executive and non-executive directorships in the property, marketing, retail and farming sectors and is past deputy chairman of the New Zealand Game Industry Board. He has been an executive director of retail business in downtown Queenstown and at Remarkables Park.
Alastair has a B.Com, and is an ACA, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a member of the Urban Land Institute of North America. His broad experience brings a wealth of knowledge to the role of Chairman of the Queenstown Chamber of Commerce.
